There are also cheaper films still on the market today that have older technology of a dyed coating to produce varying tint shades, these films whilst great in day, don’t last the distance as they have a tendency to change colour over time (going purple) also, if you need to replace a piece of film in two or more years with the same type of film it will not match in colour or shade, and depending on the depth of film they have a tendency to increase heat within the room that your trying to cool or regulate.
